High School Senior Girls Scholarship

The Junior Service League, Inc. of Bartow is a non-profit organization of women committed to improving the local community through volunteer service
We have $2,000 - $2,500 in scholarships that we will be awarding to graduating seniors who meet the following criteria:
  • Student must be a female
  • Student must attend a High School in Bartow, private or public, or maintain Bartow residency in cases of homeschooling and enrollment at other high schools 
  • Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Student must have financial need
 
The following attachments are required for this application:

  1. Letter of reference from a teacher, community leader or mentor attesting to the student’s high moral character
  2. Community service log 
  3. Essay (200-400 words) on the following topic:  “What Would This Scholarship Mean for Me?”
  4. Copy of Student Financial Aid Report
  5. Copy of Transcript
